He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Prestigious IBB University in Nigeria and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria and he is a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria ISMN (Chattered)He is currently a member of the Africa Governance Group of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

He also served as a member of the Governing board of the Nigerian Red Cross Society. he was also the national youth chairperson of the Nigerian red cross society.

As a testament to his leadership and expertise, Ameen Abdul was appointed as a member of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 by former President Muhammad Buhari of Nigeria.
